Who inspires you?

Who inspires you?
Whether or not you have an inspirational friend, family member, or mentor, don't be afraid to pursue a better career.
We are so proud of all of our graduates that each week, we share one of their stories with you. This week's graduate, Kennisha Collins, says that she found inspiration from several people as she progressed through our program. Ms. Collins lived by a quote from author Napoleon Hill: “Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle.”1

If I won the lottery, I would...

“If I won the lottery, I would...”
“If I had an extra day in the week, I could use it for...”
We like to think about what we could achieve if we were lucky enough to have life change specifically to fit our needs. However, there's so much you could accomplish on your own. Instead of relying solely on luck or others, start taking steps now to work toward your goal.

Happy 25th Anniversary

Happy 25th anniversary to East West College of Natural Medicine here in Sarasota, Florida.
I’m Carol Evans, the financial aid director, and I’ve had the privilege of watching sixteen years of graduates developing, growing, and maturing and it has been a real pleasure and I’m looking forward to many, many more.  Take care.

Pursuit of Happiness

Are your family and friends confused as to why you want to do more? “You're getting a paycheck that covers your bills,” they say. “Isn't that good enough?” However, you still come home each night with that persistent voice in your mind. You know the one.

Life is more fulfilling when you know your purpose.

Life is more fulfilling when you know your purpose. However, it could be difficult to discover what you are meant to do when you have bills to pay, family to care for, and assorted obligations that consume any leftover time you could have had for self-reflection. That's why Stautzenberger College has admissions counselors whose schedules are dedicated to helping you find your career calling.

An Ounce of Prevention…What a Concept!

Benjamin Franklin was right when he said “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”. A Chinese medical text written over 2,000 years ago, known as the Nei Jing, expressed that treating the sick in ancient China was like going into battle before making the weapons. The concept back then was more about treating the healthy to prevent disease, not treating those who were already sick. This is important today, even though it’s an ancient concept.
