Graduate Highlight - Carolyn Qubeck
When you receive medical care, don't you want the best that the world could offer? Our belief at East West College of Natural Medicine is that combining medical techniques and knowledge from around the globe could result in more comprehensive care. Alumni like graduate Carolyn Qubeck have enjoyed learning how Oriental medicine complements traditional Western healthcare.
“My favorite things about East West College are the super-caring professors and instructors, the ability to do externships and go to China,” says Ms. Qubeck. Having received training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ms. Qubeck is excited to help patients with all that she has learned.
Interested East West College students could participate in study abroad opportunites for clinic credits. This year, we are offering an internship in Taiwan at Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital. The hospital is the first created by the Tzu Chi Foundation. The Taiwan Tzu Chi Foundation performs international humanitarian work and was founded by Master Cheng Yen, a humble Buddhist nun also known as “Taiwan's Mother Teresa.” Students who visit the hospital could have the chance to gain valuable experience as well as visit historic sites such as the National Palace Museum, Taroko National Park, and more.
If you have been inspired to serve others like Ms. Qubeck or travel to Taiwan, please come in and talk to us today to see if natural medicine could be your career passion. Call 800.883.5528 or submit our Request Information form to learn more.
